Yesterday afternoon, my kids turned the big leather chair in the living room in to a car... or a batmobile I think, that had alternative abilities to morph in to a dumpster. You know, so when the bad guys are after you, you can change into an ever so smooth giant trash receptacle.
That is oh, so super hero like.
But first, before dealing with the evil villains that so often inhabit my living room, they boys had to drop Lucy off at school, promising to pick her up promptly at 3. After Lucy climbed out of the chair car, Jordan said goodbye to his sister and then yelled to Sam to stick his head out the window and make sure no bad guys were chasing them.
Lucy sat on the piano bench for several minutes, reading stories to Henry and pretending to be at school, while the boys, after an acceptable amount of dumpster morphing and hiding out, catapulted themselves in the middle of the room where they used expert ninja moves to take out the bad guys.
Then they got back in the car and went and picked up their sister from imaginary school.
A day in the life, I guess...
And some say there's no difference between boys and girls...
