What could you do before starting kindergarten?

The other day, Sam came into my room and said,

"Mommy, I've just downloaded and installed a free trial of Ranch Rush. Can I have your email address so I can register the software?"

Um, huh... wait, what?!!

I'm thinking he'll probably be alright this fall. If he gets bored, maybe he can write a new program for the library's online card catalog system, or offer free tech support to all teachers still struggling with advanced technology.

ha ha ha ... amazing how they have that capability, isn't it?

Ranch rush? I'm assuming is a game, right?

We are not to that point at our house, Nicolas only watches certain videos on YouTube ... that's about it. :)

Scarey smart is what I call that. But just think - if he keeps it up, you are set in your old age / retirement.

Boredom will definitely be the challenge in kindergarten, though.

Can your kid tutor my kid? You may want to think about hiding the credit cards, the bank passwords, and all that other private stuff he might be able to hack into!

Whoa that is one smart cookie you've got there!

My 6 year old son just discovered how to work You Tube. Of course I heavily supervise when he watches his videos on there. They actually have a lot of cute childrens songs on You Tube. His favorites are Old MacDonald and Gummy Bears.

That was funny!

What is with kids and computers? I know Grandpa was rather suprised when my 2 year old was playing Playhouse Disney by himself.

He sounds like my 5 yr old son, who just finished Kindergarden and is reading the Bionicles chapter books. His body is small but his mind is ready for college. He has his dad's brain & my freckles. What's a poor smart kid to do?? :)
