In case you were wondering...

My new blogging friend lindsay just answered eight questions on her blog that I thought were highly entertaining. Apparently there is a trend in the blogging world that involves answering a series of questions and then tagging a handful of your blogging friends requiring them to answer the same questions. (I'm new to this entire blogging thing, but it seems that's how it works). At any rate, she decided not to tag anyone after she answered the questions, but because I was trying to decide what to post today and I thought her post was so much fun, I decided to jump up and down waving my arms screaming, "I'll be it! Me! Me! Me!" So... here you go... just in case you were wondering these things about me.

1. Jobs I've had:

-Pharmacy Technician and Delivery person... my dad was/is a pharmacist.... so I worked for him all the way through high school. This has been my most favorite job ever because my very best friend worked with me... we spent a lot of time playing Guess that Customer (you'd be surprised how long it takes some old people to get from their car to the counter... we had a lot of time to guess) and just being totally ridiculous all together. Oh, the fun you can have in a pharmacy. Especially when working with my dad. I'll have to save those stories for another post all together. Suffice it to say, my dad is a character.
-Hostess at a fancy restaurant... my other high school job... very fun and very good pay.
-Text Inventory Control Clerk at the BYU Bookstore
-Freelance writer for ClubMom
-Mom (I agree with Lindsay on this one... definitely the best job so far)

2.Movies I could watch over and over again:

-The Cutting Edge (please don't laugh at me for this one... my husband has been doing it for years... I don't need your ridicule as well!)
-Dirty Dancing (only because when I was in the fifth grade my friend and I got caught trying to watch this movie without our parents knowing... I think I still like to watch it in open defiance of childhood law)
-Pride and Prejudice - BBC version (no explanation necessary. except that I LOVE Mr. Darcy)
-A Time to Kill, To Kill a Mockingbird, Field of Dreams, Finding Neverland, Remember the Titans

3.favorite TV shows

I so rarely watch TV that isn't Tom and Jerry, Superwhy, or Zula Patrol, but, when I do, I like to watch
-The Office
-Criminal Minds (although I really miss Gideon. It hasn't been the same without him.)
-House

4.favorite hobbies

-I love to read and write... I quilt and I scrapbook albums for my kids, I love swimming and I guess running is a hobby, though I do that really because I feel like I should, not because I really love doing it. If I had more money and more time, I would ride horses all the time.... a passion left over from my youth.

5.places I have lived
-NC, UT, SC, NC

6. favorite foods:
-Watermelon
-Naval Oranges
-Chocolate Covered Strawberries
-really good bread
-really good cheese
-really good chocolate
-cherry coke
-Baby Ruth candy bars
-squash and zucchini, roasted with sweet onions, drizzled with olive oil and seasoned to perfection

7.places I'd rather be right now:
-nowhere but here. I'm content... actually, maybe I would rather be taking a nap. I never get enough sleep.

8.websites I check daily:
-my email, and my blog, and many other blogs that I love to read
-I go to goggle a thousand times a day
-Fox News is my homepage, so I see that daily as well.
-I check Mitt Romney and Glenn Beck's respective homepages when I am feeling political
-And last, but not least (good heavens I can't believe I am admitting this), I check Clay Aiken's website and message boards, because maybe, just maybe, he'll change his mind and do a Christmas show somewhere close enough to me that I can go and see him.

I hope you feel sufficiently enlightened... or perhaps better about yourself because surely you aren't as dorky as I am!
