Happy Birthday Josh!!!!

4 days late!!! Because on the 15th, we had seven children in our house!!!

I really wanted to do something special for him on his birthday. Really. I did. But do you know how tired you are at the end of the day when you take care of that many children? So, I'm hoping, that if I write something really wonderful about all the wonderful things that I love about my husband, he'll forgive me for the birthday that never happened.

If anyone deserves a happy birthday... it's Josh. Because, well, he is just the best. Right after he proposed, I said yes, and told him he was the "mast amozing" person I had ever met. He has never let me down. He just keeps being amozing.

I wrote a poem once, which I will not share here because I'm not, actually, a poet. But, at the time, I was pregnant and sentimental and he was being all wonderful and fatherly and my thoughts came out as poetry. The general idea though, was that to love a man is really fun. But to love that same man when he becomes the father of your children is just an entirely different ballgame. My kids could never have a better Dad than the one they've got. I am so grateful for that.

And I'm grateful that he is everything else that makes me happy. I don't know where I would be without him. I'm trying to think of a way to sum it up without sounding too sappy. I don't really like sap all that much. Basically... when I am a mess, or my house is a mess, or my emotions are a mess... he loves and accepts me without ever judging or criticizing. I'm not sure he realizes how HUGE that is... especially for a stay-at-home Mom. That acceptance and love is why I'm happy doing what I'm doing. That, and the kids. They make me happy too.

So there you have it. Happy Birthday Josh. I love you. Next year, I'll get you something totally amozing.
