It's a sad day in my kitchen. Because my candy eating can no longer be considered altruistic. All the things my kids don't like... the almond joys, mounds, giant tootsie rolls, Butterfinger crisps, Baby Ruth, Snickers, Sweettarts, Reese's Fast Breaks, and Hershey bars (What?! Is that a lot of candy or something?) are all gone. I only ate to spare the children the trauma of biting in to something they might not like. See how that works? It was really just out of the goodness of my heart that I broke my fast yesterday with five fifteen little mini candy bars... I can't do it anymore though. If I eat what's left then I'm just being selfish. Wait... what if I eat to preserve the health of my children? I mean really, they don't need all that sugar and high fructose corn syrup festering away in their little bodies, ruining their teeth, slowing them down...
I think I need an intervention.
