A Funny Thing Happened in Aisle Ten

While walking through the grocery store today, a man stopped me and in a very serious tone, said, "Mam, I don't want to alarm you, but there are four children following you all over this store."

Ha! This guy was funny.

I would have left our encounter with nothing but happy thoughts for the nice funny man in the grocery store, except the second thing he said to me had something to do with public schools teaching evolution and how teenagers these days are all acting like animals because public school systems are teaching them that they evolved from you guessed it... animals.

"It's self fulfilling prophesy," he said a little too emphatically for aisle ten. "You teach em they come from animals, and they grow up to be animals. You see my point?"

Um, sure.

Do you know where the garbage bags are?

I have to admire the guy's passion. I mean, obviously if he's willing to talk to strangers in the grocery store, he must feel pretty strongly about his, um, whatever it is that he feels really strongly about. Just try and keep the crazy talk to a minimum in front of the children, mkay?
