Have you had a kid play T-ball? It might just be the most adorable thing ever, in the whole entire world.
Sam and Lucy played this year.
All the adorableness was not disappointing.
Lucy was the only girl on the team. I didn't expect this to bother her since she has spent her entire life being the only girl just about all the time. And it didn't bother her one single bit.
She wore pink to every practice. Her coach called her Lucy Lu.
And she was pretty much faster than every boy on the team.
I'm thinking she was perfectly comfortable in her singular status.
At the final team party, the kids got trophies. Lucy's trophy had a ponytail. I know. LOVE the guy that thought to make hers special like that.
I love these kids. Have I said that today? I really do.
